Periodontology

The department deals with the diseases of the gums and their management. Motivation & education of the patient regarding the oral hygiene is emphasized.
Department stands proud in the newly constructed block spread over approximately 10,000Sft with the 44 dental chairs equipped with ultrasonic units, air polishing units, light cure composite restoration kits. Department of Periodontics deals with the diagnosis and treatment of approximately 25, 000 patients per year. The Department is fully equipped to perform all modern surgical techniques.
The Postgraduate section is being geared up to meet the increasing demand of the students and the patients by adding the Implantlogy section.
