Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and Oral Microbiology

Clinical skills are indeed important, but understanding a disease process is even more important and the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology teaches this aspect of Dentistry as to why a disease occurs and how it progresses.
The undergraduates are meticulously trained and monitored and frequent interactions with the parents are also held.
Students are encouraged to participate in seminar presentations and group discussions.
The post graduate program is spread over a period of three years where in the students are taught Evidence Based Dentistry. They are also exposed to the functioning and usage of all modern gadgets & techniques in Oral Pathology & Microbiology and Forensic Dentistry of which the department’s research & histopathology laboratory proudly boasts. Eminent faculties are the jewels where the Department is the crown of Narayana Dental College.
